Vanda Labs is building the AI operating system for datacenters. Our mission is to close the systemic gap in knowledge and infrastructure required to deploy embodied AI for autonomous operations.
Rapid growth in AI is accelerating the strain on datacenter resources around the world. Today, datacenters are filled with sensors and existing tools can tell you when something changes, but they can't diagnose, repair, or learn from it. We are building the systems that maintain and fix edge datacenters on their own, from scorching deserts to under the seas or deep space, while advancing open foundational tools and goal-driven research towards self-replicating machines.
We come from top embodied AI and hardware programs at Columbia University and National University of Singapore. Our team has led research that has topped Stanford's LLM benchmarks, architected infrastructure at Jane Street, Verkada, and Dell, and built open foundational tools used by Anthropic, Google DeepMind, and Cohere. We're backed by Y Combinator and angel investors from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google DeepMind.
